El Médano is a small village situated in the south-east side of Tenerife in the town on Granadilla de Abona. This is 7 km from the south airport 'Reina Sofía' (Queen Sofía), 60 km from the capital of the island, Santa Cruz, 20 km from 'Playa de Las Américas' and 100 km from the north airport 'Los Rodeos'.
