The interior of this luminous house of highest wooden ceilings, offers our clients two double bedrooms with two beds in each one and two bathrooms.
The kitchen has all the necessary items to prepare grat meals and is unified with the dining room and a comfortable sitting room to watch TV.
Situation:
The municipality of Güimar is in the southern sector of the valley of the same name, in the zone of Bends, limits the north with Arafo and the west with the Orotava, in the Dorsal Mountain range. The native deposits are very numerous, specially in the zones of Candoneras, the Cave of the Sand, the Precipice of Badajoz, the one of Guasa, Escobonal or Chicaica. The most representative construction of the old helmet of Güimar is the parochial church of San Pedro, with interesting statures in its interior.
The convent of the Dominican ones is a present reconstruction of the old convent, ruined in a fire. The surroundings of Güimar are of great beauty and ecological importance, part of its municipal term is including within the Natural Park of Forest Corona with summits like the Izaña with 2,386 meters and places of great beauty like slopes of Santa Úrsula, the Organs and the stops of the valley of Güímar. The natural space of the Malpaís is of great landscaping and rich interest in endemismos. Another point of interest is the piramidales Majanos de Chacona, constructions of stone of great ethnographic value and the used wrought caves like houses.
MALPAÍS OF GÜÍMAR The Malpaís includes/understands the volcanic cone, Great Mountain, with a crater of 300 meters of diameter and one altitude of 276 meters with respect to the surroundings, and a tap that a typical volcanic landscape altogether descends until the sea forming. The vegetation is typical of basal floor with more than fifty superior species, mainly Cardonal-Tabaibal. Also we can find a grotto originated by the explosion of a gas bubble, denominated Deep Cave, with one hundred meters in length and five meters of height máxima.Las characteristic climatologic geomórficas of the land and make of this one a unique place that has been declared Special Natural Reserve.
HERQUES PRECIPICE The zone of the Precipice of Herques has been, traditionally, rich in caves with deposits guanches. The poblamientos were located in places where water in the neighborhoods existed and herques as much offered this essential liquid in winter as in summer. This precipice constitutes the natural limit between the municipalities of Fasnia and Güímar, being great part of its spectacularity, with slopes and cut escarpments to lead, direct consequence of alluviums that, traditionally, take place all invier to us, untying the uncontrollable force of waters and molding a deep furrow. The precipice runs perpendicularly from the coast, with a level 0, to a level of 2,300 m.s in the summit. The precipice is, at the present time, catalogued by Law 12/87 like Protected Natural Place.
BADAJOZ PRECIPICE Located in the high part of the municipality, next to slopes of Güímar. It presents/displays formation of green mount, pine and fruit trees. One is within the Protected Natural Landscape of Seven Hills. In its route is the Cave of the Stick, native cave, that was residence of summer of the Menceyes de Güímar. It must his name to the cane framework that presents/displays. Its landscaping interest mainly resides in the endemic species of canary flora that it has, and the great spectacularity of its vertical walls and the boxed form of the Precipice. Historically, as much the Precipice of Badajoz as the Precipice of the River was supplying natural of all the necessary water for the irrigation of the cultures of mediocrities and coasts of the municipality. In this zone an interesting evolution in the form of pick up of underground waters has been registered throughout years of operation, from end of century XIX to the Seventies of the present century (galleries, wells, etc.).
